Loudmouth Illustrations (formerly Loudmouth Productions) has been operating since April 2001 and over this period has developed an extensive range of illustrative styles. As a freelance illustration service, Loudmouth has provided illustrations for children's books, school journals, magazines, corporate literature, websites and interactive games, television productions (storyboarding), educational material and much more.

About Loudmouth

​Josh Smits is Loudmouth illustrations.
Josh has always had a keen interest in painting and drawing. Growing up in the Hutt Valley, if he wasn't outside kicking a ball or swinging a bat, he was inside making pictures.
In fact his first commissions were during his primary school years drawing reproductions of "Kiss" album covers for classmates!

Nowadays Josh likes to incorporate his drawing skills with computer skills to create all manner of rich and vibrant images. His vast variety of styles is one of his strengths.

Josh has a Bachelor of Design (First class honors) from Massey University.
Currently he is enjoying working in his studio in the Sunshine coast, Maroochydore.
When he is not illustrating, he is working within the Fire and Rescue industry.
